For relaxation and entertainment, an indoor Braai area on the ground floor with an open-plan kitchen leads into the formal lounge area. Another informal seating area opens onto the paved courtyard.
The two double bedrooms each have their own patio. Also on the second floor is the guest bathroom and the main en-suite bathroom. You can access the roof patio from the patios with a spiral staircase. Here, you will be spoiled with great views over Gordon’s Bay.
Downstairs is a double sleeper couch for two children.
The duplex is luxurious and fully equipped with everything you need for a unique breakaway from home, allowing you to be completely refreshed and recharged afterwards.

Residence Location
Access to Gordon’s Bay’s main beach is less than 5 5-minute walk. Enjoy the beautiful sea & mountain views, plus magnificent sunsets.
It is easily accessible and within walking distance of several restaurants, including Tallas, Spur, Zest, as well as other restaurants and coffee shops, and the well-known Uncle Barry’s Ice Cream.
Rates & Extras
- Throughout the year – R1,950 per day.
- December and Easter Holidays – R2,995 per day
- 50% of the total rates will be paid on booking confirmation, and the balance is due before the occupation date.
- The R1500 refundable breakage fee must also be paid before the occupation date. To facilitate proper inspection, the refund will be paid electronically within 3–5 days after you vacate the house.
- A R450 Cleaning fee per stay is payable before or on arrival.
- There is no smoking inside the house. If there is any evidence of smoking inside the house, including hubbly pipes or e-cigarettes, an R1000 fine will be deducted from the breakage fee. Please respect our No-Smoking Policy and consider the needs of other non-smoking guests.
- Breakaway Self-Catering rules must be signed upon arrival by a responsible person at the time of booking. NB: By breaking any of these rules, you will LOSE your FULL DEPOSIT.
- The owner and management of Breakaway Self-catering Gordon’s Bay are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage incurred.
Out of Season:
- 1 – 7 Days before occupation date – 0% refund.
- 8 – 30 Days before occupation date – 50% refund.
- More than 30 days before the occupation date – 100% refund.
Peak Holidays – December – Easter and Official Long Weekends:
- 0 – 60 Days before occupation date – 0% refund.
- 61 – 90 Days before occupation date – 50% refund.
- More than 90 days before the occupation date – 100% refund.
An Admin Fee of 10% of the Total Booking amount will be Forfeited with Any Cancellation.
